John and Wendy have been in the pub game for over 20 years.  John is from Scotland and is from a famous golfing family; if you are a golfer ask him anything about the history of golf and you will probably get an answer! Wendy is a more local girl spending her formative years in Walberswick where her father was a gamekeeper. Ask her about the Adder! Now living here you could say that she has come home!

Taking on the lease for an extended period John and Wendy have set about recreating the atmosphere of a traditional English village pub and The Duke is well equipped to host your party or family events with their experience John and Wendy will make sure your event goes with a swing.
